Wasatch has been funded through equity investment, State of Utah commercialization grants, and Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants.

Wasatch has raised equity funding from the Pasadena Angels, Tech Coast Angels, ACE Fund, Utah Angels, Park City Angels and Salt Lake Life Science Angels.

Wasatch’s early R&D efforts were funded through the Center of Excellence Program (COEP), administered by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development of the State of Utah. Wasatch also received a VIP grant for technology development from the Technology Commercialization Office at the University of Utah. Wasatch received a cash prize for taking first place in the University of Utah statewide business plan competition administered by the Pierre Lassonde Entrepreneur Center at the David Eccles School of Business.

Wasatch has also received six Phase I SBIR awards and two Phase II awards through the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation.
